Questions about paying
Is the free version really complete?
Yes. You can scan, explore, find duplicates, clean up with the review sheet and undo, without a time limit. Pro adds extras on top.
What happens if I stop my yearly plan?
The Pro extras turn off at the end of the paid year. Everything in Free keeps working, and your scans and history stay on your Mac.
App Store or direct download?
For most people, the Mac App Store. The direct download adds tool cleanups such as Homebrew’s and Xcode’s, Full Disk Access, the command line tool and Business. Free is complete in both. Compare the two.
Where do I buy Pro?
In the Mac App Store version, as an in-app purchase. In the direct download, as a license key from this site; checkout is handled by Stripe, our reseller and merchant of record.
I bought Pro in the App Store. Do I pay again for the direct download?
No. The direct download finds your App Store purchase on the same Mac and sets up a license key for you. There is nothing to type: open the App Store version once after buying, then the direct download. How to move. A license key from this site works only in the direct download.
Who handles the payment and VAT?
For license keys and Business seats, Stripe is the reseller and merchant of record. Stripe calculates VAT or sales tax for your country at checkout, takes the payment and emails the receipt. In the App Store, Apple does the same.
Does Pro work on all my Macs?
On up to 5 personal Macs. Through the App Store, use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account. With a license key, enter the key on each Mac.
How do I cancel a yearly license key?
Use the manage link in the email with your license key, or manage it at link.com. App Store subscriptions are managed in your Apple Account settings. Either way, Pro stays on until the end of the paid year.
Can I switch from yearly to once?
Yes. Switch to once for €20, and your yearly plan stops renewing. See switching to Pro once.
Can I get a refund?
App Store purchases are refunded by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. License keys bought directly can be refunded within 14 days: reply to your receipt email or contact support.
Why is Business not in the App Store?
Apple volume purchasing cannot include in-app purchases, so Business uses the direct, notarized build with a license your MDM installs silently.
Buying for a team?
Deploy with Intune or Jamf, see disk space per Mac in your MDM or Power BI, and get an invoice with every order. Your data never leaves your Macs.
